As we journey through Lent, we are invited to reflect, learn, and grow in our faith. This year, James Bay United Church is offering two meaningful study opportunities—one in person and one online—designed to deepen our understanding and connection during this sacred season.

The first is a 5-session “Study & Soup Supper” held in person every Wednesday evening in the Lower Hall from March 12 through April 9. This gathering will provide a time of learning, discussion, and shared community over a warm meal. Stay tuned for more details in the coming days!

For those who prefer an online study, we are excited to share a 5-session series each Thursday from March 13 through April 10, featuring theologians Tripp Fuller and Dr. John Dominic Crossan. Titled Paul the Pharisee — Faith & Politics in a Divided World, this study will explore Paul’s teachings and their relevance today. You can find all the details and register at this link.

Whether in person or online, these studies offer a chance to engage in meaningful discussions and deepen our spiritual journey this Lenten season. We hope you will join us!
