A Welcoming Way to Get Involved at JBUC

Do you enjoy organizing, connecting with others, and helping people feel at home? We’re currently seeking a Lead (or Co-Leads) for our Greeters Team — an essential part of our Sunday morning experience at James Bay United Church.

This role is flexible, well-supported, and a wonderful entry point into leadership at JBUC. You’ll be helping to coordinate a team that’s already up and running — no need to have served as a greeter yourself!

The Role Can Be Shared:

• Roster Coordinator – Schedules two greeters for each Sunday service.
Time commitment: about 1 hour every 2 months, online from home.

• Recruitment Coordinator – Welcomes new greeters and arranges training with an in-house trainer.
Time commitment: as needed.

There are no regular team meetings required, and all tools and support are provided.
