Pre-Authorized Remittance (PAR)
Donating by PAR (direct from your account to the church) helps us manage our budget and cashflow. It’s a benefit to you, knowing that your offering is “in hand” even when you may be out of town. You can download a PAR application form here or pick one up at the church.
We provide “I give by PAR” cards at the greeters table in the sanctuary, should you wish to place it on the offering plate (when passed) as an expression of your gift.
Donate safely on-line through Canada Helps.
You can set up a one-time or recurring periodic contributions and you will automatically receive a receipt for Revenue Canada through the Canada Helps portal.
Cash or Cheque and Giving Envelopes
Envelopes are in the pews for visitors or for anyone making special donations.* Be sure to note your name and address so we can send you a thank you and tax receipt. You may also request personalized envelopes -- one for each week of the year, from Vanya in the church office.

Memorial Gifts and Bequests
If you wish to make a donation in memory of a loved one or name James Bay United Church in your will. Please contact the church office for more information about how we honour these special contributions.
*James Bay United Church issues income tax receipts for all donations of $20 and more that are identified with your name and address.
