After exploring the art of singing in our two sessions, this third masterclass with Louise Rose invites you to listen, learn, and be inspired. While registration for singing is now closed, you are welcome to observe as participants refine their chosen songs and share their musical journey in a warm and supportive space.

This Sunday we read about a lavish act of loving service: Mary anoints Jesus with expensive (very expensive!) essential oils. In shock, Judas disparages her but Jesus comes to her defense. Acting rationally is always a good idea. And once in a while, we have to surrender to love, to do something extravagant for God, for love itself.

Ignatian Meditation is a way to enter into the biblical story of Jesus’ journey—through Lent to Good Friday and Easter. Each week there will be two Gospel readings—one from the upcoming Sunday service and the other on Wednesday.

Dying With Dignity Canada’s Victoria Chapter invites you to a community forum exploring end-of-life choices for individuals and families navigating dementia. Guest speakers Dr. Don Versluis and Amanda Proznik will offer insights, followed by a Q&A and interactive group discussions. The event takes place at the Victoria Scottish Community Centre, 1803 Admirals Road. Admission is by donation and pre-registration is required.

Despite Lent’s gray, beauty bursts forth. As we journey through this season of reflection, we are reminded that hope and renewal are always near. Take a moment to pause, reflect, and notice the beauty around you.
