Sunday WorshipApril 6, 10:15 am This Sunday we read about a lavish act of loving service: Mary anoints Jesus with expensive (very expensive!) essential oils. In shock, Judas disparages her but Jesus comes to her defense. Acting rationally is always a good idea. And once in a while, we have to surrender to love, to do something extravagant for God, for love itself. Presiding: Greg Powell For more infomation visit:

New Twist on an Old Scam
Recently, some members of JBUC received an email that seemed to come from the staff and minister, requesting gift cards. Fortunately, members recognized it as a scam. Please be aware that staff and congregational leaders will never ask for gift cards or cash via email. Staying informed and cautious is our best defense against such scams. Let's continue to protect ourselves and our community by remaining vigilant.
