Welcoming Rev. Greg Powell

Dear Friends,

We are delighted to share some wonderful news with you today. After much prayerful consideration and discernment, we are thrilled to announce that the Pacific Mountain Regional Council has officially approved our congregation's call of Rev. Greg Powell as our new 3/4-time permanent minister here at James Bay United Church!

This significant milestone in our journey together would not have been possible without the dedication and hard work of many. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Church Board for their steadfast support throughout this process. Additionally, a special thank you goes to the PMRC for their helpful guidance and for officially approving this call.

As we welcome Rev. Greg into this role, let us celebrate the beginning of this new chapter for our church. Together, we will continue to shine the light of love, hope, and compassion in James Bay and beyond.
