The Board is delighted to welcome the new Transitional Supply Minister, Rev. Greg Powell, to James Bay United Church. Rev. Powell has taken on this role at least until the end of June.

Before joining James Bay United, Greg was working on a church start in Metchosin, called the Westshore Community of Practice. He served in congregational ministry in Castlegar after a stint in engineering and several years in the environmental non-profit sector.

Greg is an avid cyclist and runner and now coaches ball hockey and ultimate frisbee. He spends a lot of time these days in the garden or orchard, but especially with his spouse, Nicole, and their 2 kids.
