Are you passionate about singing or simply looking for a joyful way to contribute to our Sunday services? The JBUC Sunday Worship Choir is welcoming new voices this fall! Whether you're a seasoned singer or just curious to try out choir for the first time, your voice is needed and appreciated.
This fall, the choir will perform during two special services: Advent Sunday, and Christmas Eve. We invite anyone in the community, regardless of musical experience, to join us in making these worship celebrations even more meaningful.
The JBUC Sunday Worship choir will sing for the first Sunday in Advent and anyone in the community is welcome to join regardless of ability. If you are a newcomer or someone who wants to try out the choir for the first time, please know that your voice is so welcome. We hold two Sunday afternoon rehearsals in the weeks preceding each choir service. Rehearsal files are provided so that you can practice on your own too. Preferably, you would be able to attend both rehearsals, but seeing as we are all very busy, at a minimum you should plan to attend one of the two rehearsals.
We understand that life is busy, so we’ve made the commitment flexible. We will hold two Sunday afternoon rehearsals before each service, and we provide rehearsal files so you can practice on your own. Ideally, we’d love for you to attend both rehearsals, but we ask that you commit to at least one if you're participating.
