Holy Saturday meditation

For a special Holy Saturday musical offering, our music director Daniel Brandes will perfrom Antoine Beuger's "traces of eternity: of what is yet to be." This humble, powerful, and poetic work is a sonic meditation in which the performer and listeners dwell with (attend-to) gentle, transparent threads of melodies—"rejoicing in the splendour of what cannot be possessed...of what cannot be conceived...of what cannot be anticipated." 

This performance will be offered as a time to linger in that Holy Saturday place, that places us between the unbearable grief of Friday and the impossible hope of Sunday.
