Sunday WorshipSunday, January 26, 10:15am In light of the volunteer fair taking place afterward, Sunday’s worship will focus on volunteerism and the assertion in Paul’s first epistle to the Corinthians that we are all members of the one body of Christ. It takes all of us and the full range of spiritual gifts to bring God’s kin-dom to fruition. Discerning our gifts isn’t always easy; nor is finding just the right fit for our gifts. Together, as a church, we help each other to figure it out. By the grace of God, we can all belong and we can all be Christ’s body. Presiding: Greg Powell For more infomation visit:

Community Lunch Memory of Kris Unger
It is with heavy hearts that we say “Goodbye” to Kris Unger, who was a faithful volunteer since the family moved to Victoria. Kris passed away over the holidays and will be so missed. He started by organizing the Foodshare table and expanded his contribution to coming in early every week to set up tables and help with anything that was needed. He had a regular table of guests that he served. His calm and gentle presence and caring smile added so much to the lunch, and his memory will live on for all who knew him. |
