Our Easter morning service begins at 10:15 in the sanctuary -- a celebration in which to be touched by and give thanks for the mystery of new life rising where we may least expect it.
Imagine the sanctuary filled with song, with light, with life.
Consider bringing a bouquet of fresh flowers that in their own way sing out their gladness ... flowers in loving memory of someone dear, or in thanksgiving for something in your life for which you wouldn't dare contain your gratitude! We have lots of vases at the church ... Sylvia will be available to receive your flowers or to assist you in the Welcome Room, as you come up ramp along the Menzies St side of the building.
There's always room for one more as we gather not only to remember those gatherings where Jesus sat down with sinners and saints, but at this table, on this day, in this place, in the sharing of this bread and cup we trust that somehow we are joined by Christ, alive in our midst who says to us, as I have loved you, so love one another.
The bread is gluten, lactose and egg free; each chalice is filled with grape juice.
May the blessing of the Spirit be yours this Easter.
