For several years now, James Bay United Church has joined other communities in the annual Pride Parade through downtown Victoria and we will be there again this year. By our presence we are a dynamic witness to the wideness of God’s love.
Those watching the parade from the side of the road cheer and clap with particular enthusiasm when communities of faith walk by. If you wish, you can walk part of the way, all of the way, or be among the appreciative supporters from the sidelines. We will be joining a number of other local United Churches to walk at 11:00 am from City Hall on Pandora Street to MacDonald Park in James Bay
Starting at the corner of Government & Pandora & then moving south on Government to Belleville, down Menzies to Kingston, left on Oswego & ending at MacDonald Park. Watch over 100 colorful groups & floats, or march yourself with local businesses, non-profits, the LBGTQ community & their allies in Victoria’s 2nd biggest parade of the year.
