On a very serious note: we want you to be aware, that NO leader of a faith community would EVER send you an email or text asking you to buy gift cards online or do ANY online transaction on their behalf. We have had a reoccurrence of this kind of scam in the last few days, targeting our church community.

PLEASE protect yourself against online scammers by:

1- checking to make sure emails that you receive are coming from an email address you recognize and

2- DON'T respond to such a request by email. Checkin with the person by phone.

We are all in a state of wanting to do the right thing for our neighbours right now and scammers WILL take advantage of your good nature. -- Please be #CyberSafe
