You’ll likely have heard of the new public health orders for this up-coming week for faith communities, allowing for small in-person indoor gatherings. This coming week our worship team will be considering the implications and possibilities for James Bay United for Easter Sunday.
What we do know is that making a shift to a hybrid in-person and live-stream service is a significant undertaking, and not only in terms of technical and physical set-up. IF we decide for some in-person participation on Easter Sunday, we will only be able to accommodate a handful of people, by invitation only and giving preference to those who have not been able to connect on-line. To be sure, the time coming when more of us will be able to gather in person, and we will begin to turn our minds to that now so we are ready for when that day arrives.
