National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

How will you honour the day in a way that issues in action? 

A team of people from within and beyond our congregation has been dreaming up a Calls to Action Scavenger Hunt.  The plan for it will go public tomorrow with a press release and facebook posts, encouraging people to put a team together for the event that will take place early November. 

The event is designed to offer people in the James Bay neighbourhood and beyond  a fun and engaging intergenerational opportunity to

·         learn about the Truth and Reconciliation Calls to Action

·         connect with others locally who are looking to turn their compassion into action

·         create teams that will take up one of the Calls and get working on it

There’s lots of opportunity to help with putting it together for the first weekend in November.  Watch for ways you can lend a hand.  Consider who you might team up with.
