The main goal is to move excess plants and unused tools into the hands of neighbours who need or want them
There are four ways individuals can take part:
1. Have lots of stuff needing new homes? Set up a table and sell, swap, or give away.
2. Have just a few things? Wander by with them under your arm and do likewise.
3. Can't make it on the day or don't want to hang around? Donate your items to the JBNA Gardening table - all proceeds from this table fund JB neighbourhood gardening projects
4. No plants or tools? - then come find some.
All the not-for-profit gardens in James Bay, like the JBUC gardens, are welcome to set up a table and either sell, swap or give away garden items, recruit volunteers, or just tell people about your garden project. We do this twice a year, in early May and early Sept, so even if you don't want to participate this fall, keep it in mind for the future.
Sept. 8, 10 AM.
