We are thrilled to share some fantastic news with our community! James Bay United Church has been awarded a generous grant of $30,000 from the Victoria Foundation, specifically to support our Community Lunch Program. This vital funding will ensure that our program, which serves approximately 60 people each week, can continue its important work for another year.

The Victoria Foundation’s Community Grants Program plays a crucial role in supporting local initiatives, and this year, it has distributed an impressive $6.194 million in Vital Stream funding to 252 organizations. We are honored to be among those selected to receive this support.

With this grant, we will be able to meet the growing needs of our community, providing nourishing meals and a welcoming space for those who rely on our services. This support is more than just financial—it’s a testament to the strength and generosity of our community and the vital role that our program plays in it.
