43 gift packs

Lunch Program volunteers formed an assembly line and wrapped 43 gift packs wrapped with ribbon and a card in 2.5 hours . . .  jam, peanut butter, tuna or salmon, Ritz crackers, cookies, a can of Chef Boy-aredee ravioli, an orange, chocolates, oatmeal, babybel cheese – items all chosen for the ease of eating – no cooking or preparation. Each Thursday Lunch guest received their pack on December 14. 

We bought about 30 of each item and the rest were donated by the congrgation. We were so excited by the amount donated! THANK YOU!

Aprons were ordered online and a volunteer painted each volunteer's name on in fabric paint with a small design. Volunteers were excited and surprised to receive aprons at our Volunteer Christmas Party – a potluck held at Joanne's.

Heartfelt thanks to all those who participated in and donated to this ministy in 2023. It is a blessing to our neighbourhood.
