Not only will we discover and sing these touchstone hymns, but we will hear from those who contribute a piece to the playlist for the day about why these pieces hold a powerful place in their life. Tea and Swing at James Bay UnitedSaturdays: 4 - 6pm in the Lower Hall An everyone-welcome gathering for folks of all ages and abilities to share in time and community with a backdrop of hospitality, music and dancing. Live music each week for dancing or just toe-tapping listening. Musicians are invited to expand their repertoire, learn a new tune, or polish an old one and sit in for a "tune of the week".

Sound Healing with Sara Marreirosstarting Friday, June 2: 12noon Sara Marreiros has been performing music for over 25 years. She’s a versatile singer known for her love of many genres, including the art of vocal improvisation and sound healing. Sara has also collaborated with singers on a number of sound healing projects over the past decade and has recently begun exploring solo work. She finds sound healing extremely gratifying and would like to share this with our community.
Starting June 2nd, Sara will be offering these improvised weekly sessions in the sanctuary of James Bay United Church. Each experience will be completely different depending on who comes that day.
