Born and raised in Victoria, British Columbia, bassist and bandleader Josh Warren has been mentored by many of the city’s finest musicians, including bassist Louis Rudner, trumpeter David Flello, and others, before heading off to Toronto's prestigious Humber College of Music, where he worked with some of the finest jazz, pop, and contemporary musicians in the country.
A successful bandleader performing in jazz and contemporary music, Josh Warren brings a special quartet of musical friends to the stage at Tuesday Night Jazz.
Featuring virtuoso Hungarian pianist Attila Fias, guitarist Wes Carroll, and visiting drummer Matteo Romaniello, the Josh Warren Quartet will lead the audience through a set of high-energy original compositions and favourite jazz standards!
