At 7:00 PM, a special Victoria-based edition of the BROWNMAN AKOUSTIC 4-TET will take the stage, performing music from Miles Davis’ influential years between 1944 and 1969. You’ll hear selections from Miles’ time with Charlie Parker, the Prestige label’s First Great Quintet, Kind of Blue, and the groundbreaking Second Great Quintet.
“We’d need a whole week to cover the twists and turns of Miles’ career, so tonight we’ll focus on this 20-year period,” says Ali.

Admission by donation ($10–20 suggested)
