Join us as we celebrate the music of the great Horace Silver and the classic jazz soul of the 1950s!
This special presentation will feature music composed by the influential pianist and bandleader Horace Silver. His writing is characterized by a unique mixture of swing, blues, and Latin jazz. Silver wrote many hit tunes in the 1950s and '60s and helped define the style known as "Hard Bop."
Bringing together some of the finest musicians on the West Coast—including some brand-new friends and some regular favorites of Tuesday Night Jazz fans!
