Doors will open at 6pm, POTLUCK dinner at 6:20pm and the movie will start at 7:10pm - with dessert!
The movie: La vie en rose - the Story of Edith Piaf
If you didn't see this movie at the time, now is your opportunity to do so with friends! Edith Piaf was the darling of France for 50 years. The movie swept all the awards of 2008 and re-introduced the world to Edith and to Marion Cotillard. Numerous nominations ended with the movie and Marion Cotillard winning the Golden Globes, the Screen Actors' Guild (SAG) and the Critics' Circle awards - and Marion received the Academy Award (Oscar) for Best Actress. Additional Oscars were awarded for Best Production Design and Best Costumes.
