Keeping it Human: Frontlines
A live community conversation about the forgotten voice in solutions to homelessness: our frontline workers and volunteers.
Outreach workers and frontline volunteers are the backbone of our social services sector and yet their voices are too often missing from community conversations around homelessness.
Keeping it Human: Frontlines is a unique, grassroots event that will encourage the exchange of human understanding between individuals on the frontlines of homelessness and greater Victoria communities. This evening will feature a series of video interviews with the real experts on outreach from our community, interactive exercises for the audience to reflect and build relationship, and an art and photography gallery from Outreach workers across Southern Vancouver Island.
This is a by-donation event where all proceeds will be going to a local organization involved in street outreach.
